Remember my friend who lost her Christmas stockings to a friendly neighborhood rodent. Well, I was looking through my fabric stash and decided to try surprising her by making one or two for her until the after Christmas sales when she could pick up some for cheap.
Boy, I didn't know what I was getting into. I have been having way too much fun making them using this pattern. The instructions I've been using are much more basic. They take approximately an hour or less to make. This is the one I tried the pattern on:
Unfortunately, she had already gotten one for her little girl by the time I caught her again. But guess what, her little boy likes firetrucks.
I think I like this one even more than the first.
How cute are these. I've been trying to decide who else I could give one too. They are so much fun to put together.

Well, Luke likes trains, and Anna likes dolls and pink, so if you are desperate for people to make stockings for....:)
Hey, Jennifer is here at my house and she loves the stockings and would really enjoy them. Thanks for thinking of her! You are so great!
