One Year!

Then: "I'm a citizen now!"

One year ago today, Hubby and I walked out of an airport gate and hallway with little Rugrat in our arms. Peering toward us at the other end were her new Granny, aunt and uncle, and an anxious brother and sister.

As we made it past the barrier, they approached with much the same awe on their faces as a three year old Chick had had when first seeing her new baby brother at the hospital. A dream, something we had spoken of for a very long time and looked forward to, something we had planned and prayed for was finally here... in the flesh... touchable... real.

It is amazing to think that it has been a year. The time has flown so quickly and yet it seems she has been a part of our family all along.

So happy for y'all that it all finally came together in God's perfect timing. Glad we actually got to meet her too. :) She is precious.
