The Fruit of Our Labors

I know you're probably tired of hearing about our landscaping/gardening efforts but this truly shocked me. On Saturday, Hubby was spraying the leaves of our trees and noticed this...


We fully expected not to see any fruit on the trees for a year or two after planting. That is what every bit of fruit tree research has told us is the norm. Even the tags on the trees themselves when you buy them will say that.

So what's that doing there?!?

We didn't plant a year ago. We planted a MONTH AND A HALF AGO!

I guess all that watering that Rugrat and I have been doing is being rewarded with a little peak at what's to come.
