The kitchen was on the same wall as the dining area and to the side of both the living room and stairs. The bathroom was hidden under the loft between the downstairs bedroom and dining area. It wasn't wildly large but roomy enough -- even with 5 of us there.
Probably my only problem with it was that it was all open. There wasn't really a place for you to close yourself off in a room. Not a problem with an older family but with a toddler who needed to go to bed earlier than everyone else and really should have taken a nap or two, it could be a problem. Fortunately, once she got to sleep, she was pretty much out of it at night. Especially after climbing hills and shopping.
We actually tried to get an older lady to take a picture of all of us but I don't think she could figure out the button to push and it didn't show up in the memory. Thinking she probably hit the power button instead. :)
