Pre-Halloween Fun

We got to make our usual trip to Chester's Pumpkin Patch this year but this time we went with the Girl Scouts on a Saturday.

This was Chester himself doing some magic tricks for the girls (those who found each other in the parking lot outside).

Group pic on the tractor:

We always have to take a silly faces one for our second one. Rugrat doesn't really get the whole silly face thing.

One of Rugrat's favorite parts is the pony ride. I think last year was her first time to go solo. This year she started to panic until I reminded her that she did it solo last year.

We headed home with our pumpkins in tow after a great time running around for 3 or 4 hours with our friends to get ready for another fun event -- Spooktacular at the Mustang Community Center.

That required costume:

They do it every year. Lots of local vendors set up games and give out candy to kids all free of charge. It's a really great and popular event. Unfortunately,  Rugrat and I had to do both of them by ourselves. Chick was there, but working at the Orange Leaf booth. She had a blast. She was definitely in her element.

Hubby was taking last minute advantage of a super low price on Razorback tickets (with my blessing) in Fayetteville. Dude was on a Boy Scout camp out. So, in the words of Rugrat, it was an all girl's weekend.
