Thanksgiving this year didn't really change much. We had all our favorites sitting next to the turkey and I made three pies that we all liked. Chick got home late Wednesday night and had gotten to take off Friday so it was pretty much like any other year.
Black Friday, on the other hand, was not. Hubby didn't stay up late and go to any stores while it was still dark out. He got up early and got online for a few deals. And he had already done some of the "month long Black Friday deals" that some stores had. He did leave the house early, after sunrise this time, and run to pick up one or two things.
But for the most part, we ended up spending that day pretty much like we do every year -- home with each other eating leftovers. :)
