Even though I might likely still choose Jesus Christ if I was actually given such an opportunity, to be totally honest with myself, I would have to remove Him as a possible answer. When I do that, I realized the other day, that I think I would like to meet the author of one of my favorite quotes of all time -- "Fish and guests both stink after three days."
I think that Benjamin Franklin and I would get along pretty well. From what little I know of him (and I haven't read a biography or anything), I would really enjoy being around him. He strikes me as someone who is highly intelligent and well-spoken, but has a streak of mischief. I knew there were others of us (stop snickering). But I truly would enjoy having a chat with him, I think. Of course, that won't ever happen but its fun to think about. How about you? I'd be interested to find out who you would like to meet if you ever want to share it with me. Until then, remember, don't be a stinky guest.Featured Post

And yeah, I'd like to meet Him when He was here on earth. But to some extent, I've always felt like that was a copout answer. In my opinion, I've already met Him. And some day, I will get to have as many conversations with Him as I'd like. Anything I need to know about Him is readily available in the Bible. And if it isn't in there, then I must not need to know it. I just want to. God gave us everything we need to follow Him already so...
