The Family Tree

I find myself in a difficult decision. We have always gotten a live tree for our Christmas tree. This year I would have liked to had a taller one. We have high ceilings and I would love to get a tree that is more in keeping with that. But to get one of those trees is a minimum of $50 and probably more. Keith is not big on such things and kept muttering about getting a fake tree until I 'settled' for a tree in our price range. So now I wonder... if I ever want to have a tall tree that can actually hold all our ornaments, my only choice is to pick up a fake tree after the Christmas season. But I like live trees. The smell alone is worth it. Not to mention the search. I enjoy walking around the tree lot trying to find one we like and agree on. So now I find myself trying to decide if I want to deal with buying and storing a fake tree or if I can deal with the knowledge that we'll never have a big beautiful tree unless they miraculously start fitting into the price range. I'll let you know what we end up doing.
