The chick got her yearbook yesterday. They always have a signing party at 2:00 to the end of the day so she had a chance to get lots of friends' signatures. She was very excited about it. It was her very first yearbook. Since she'll be home schooled next year, we decided one might be in order for this, her possible last year of 'school' in the traditional sense.
As I've mentioned before, they attend a private school. So I had to laugh when, as they looked over the various class members for each grade, they began to exclaim over the class size of next year's graduates. Public school classes are generally, at a minimum, in the several hundreds, at least in the public schools I attended.
I laughingly asked how many were in the class. The answer -- a whopping 26.
I guess perspective is everything.
