Update Potpourri

****After a harried week, we finally got the tiles cut appropriately and laid. Tonight we plan to grout and then to seal them on Sunday. By Monday evening, we should have a working bathroom.

****On the flip side, the Chick has complained for some time about sharing a bathroom with her "gross" brother. After sharing one with the three of us for a week, I think she has come to appreciate ONLY having to share with her brother.

****The Dude has decided that it should be May already so school can end. I don't think I've ever seen him so anxious for school to be over.

****Our summer plans are changing around a lot because we now have to work around Boy Scout camp and youth group events. We'll probably be going later than we usually do. Change can be good. Maybe the trip will be more interesting since we'll be seeing things a few weeks later.

****We uncovered the pool and opened it. Quite possibly, it is not as bad as we thought it would be. It's a lovely light green now rather than the brown we uncovered. Hopefully that will change to blue over the weekend.
