Day 3 continued

After all that miniature golf and dinosaurs, we needed a little lunch. Then we ran around some more. We had intended to go to a Go-Kart course as well but it started raining and we knew Hubby would have a short day, so we headed back to see if he were free. Before we did that though, we managed to go here.

Honestly, how bad could a place be that is named after candy and has a big blue M&M guarding the door?

What a fun store! And way bigger than you would think. I figured it would be all candy but I had no clue.

In the center there was a huge tube that had M&M's in it. There was also a short wall with M&M's of every color/flavor where you could scoop out what you wanted and purchase it by the pound. We probably spent an hour in there just looking at everything.

After the rain, we went walking around to decide on a place for dinner. We walked and walked and walked....

another themed mini-golf course near us

After a while the kids and I plopped down on a bench. Hubby scoffed at how weak we were that we couldn't walk a little distance without resting.

Until I reminded him that WE hadn't been sitting in a conference room all day but had already put in our quota of walking plus. After that, he decided pretty quickly where to eat -- which was about halfway back to our hotel. He's not such a bad guy.

Again we ended the day with a swim.

The next day was Thursday and time to head back. Our little trip was fun but its always nice to get back to familiar things and places. It was the same this time. I was glad to get back to my kitchen and my private sleeping quarters. Not to mention the wonderful water pressure of my shower.

And of course a couple of dogs who were very happy to see us.
