Last night, while I was working, a funny thing happened. I was helping a lady finish out her purchase and while she was putting her change away, I happened to glance up at her daughter who was perhaps 6 or 7 years old.
We have a box of Twilight posters hanging in the center of the divider for the line. The box features a head shot of the actor Robert Pattinson who played Edward Cullen.
As I watched, the little girl stationed herself in front of the picture twisting her little torso until she was directly in front of his paper face. Then she slowly leaned forward and planted one on him.
Right.
On.
His.
Mouth.
Notice I used the word 'planted.' This was no peck. She was going for it. And she stayed with it.
Until her mother dragged her away from the box with an embarrassed smile. And I tried very hard not to laugh...
at least not until she got out the door.
