Ladies Retreat

I spent this last weekend at a Ladies Retreat in Hilton Head, SC. It was fabulous. I had a blast and learned a lot to boot. But I did have one crushing revelation upon my return. I have gotten really OLD. I was totally exhausted -- in part because I could not sleep in a bed other than my own. Those words tend to come from the mouths of people in rocking chairs with blankets on their laps. I think too it was the general upheaval from my normal routine. And to top it all off, I had a cold that has since turned into a sinus infection. Whoopee! But that's okay, because, as I said, it was a blast. It was well worth it. And if I had to choose, I would deal with it again. And will, next year.
