What's Growing Wednesday

 So our garden is growing along. Ha ha. 

It's finally gotten too hot for the broccoli and it has pretty much bolted.

Plus the grass is trying to take over.

Our tomatoes have been doing well too.

Chick's pumpkin vines are planning a takeover of the world -- mwaa ha ha -- err, or the garden spot anyway. 

Even Rugrat's strawberry plant has been making her a few bites.

Some of our plants got started a little late after we realized that some of our seeds were too old. 

The watermelon was once of them. So I was surprised the other day to see that my watermelon plant had become a watermelon vine in two days.

And once I moved it to train it to go along the fence, it put out two more small vines.

The corn plants are looking good too. And no bunny in sight to mow them down. Yay!

And these bush beans are coming along as well.

So our fence seems to be doing its job. And we're enjoying a few of the fruits of our labors.
