but we are officially 18 months in from our LID. When we began the adoption process, the wait was 15 to 18 months. That means we are officially at the end of the wait range now for when we signed up. Of course, people who are doing paperwork now are being told 28 months.
If then was now, we would be getting a match soon. Ah... well. I hope that it won't be much longer. But even at 18 months, I guess we've got quite a jump on those who are signing up for the "slow boat to China" right now.
