The Chick is at a chess tournament today. She joined the Chess Club at school a few weeks ago. And she has been gung ho ever since. She's been playing everyone she could talk into it. She's been checking out books on different strategies. And today she'll get to really test herself.
She beats pretty much everyone else in her grade in the Chess Club at school (and a few in higher grades that she's played) so I'm hoping she'll do pretty well. She didn't seem nervous or anxious at all this morning. But if you happen to think of it, I'm sure she would appreciate a prayer on her behalf for a clear and focused mind as she represents her school.
