Today is the day that Emily turns 3 years old. I had a faint hope that we would be celebrating with her but I didn't expect it.
I do hope to be celebrating the new year with her though even if I currently have no reason to think so.
The Chick finds it incredibly funny that Emily's birthday is the first day of December. She says that our youngest daughter was born on the first day of December and our eldest daughter was born on the last day of December. I guess there is something ironic about that.
So, sweetheart, I hope that someone gives you a special treat today or a hug or possibly even a bite of cake. I plan to spoil you rotten for the next one.
