We enjoyed our visit with the Mooks on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Rugrat was better this time -- not quite as territorial so much as having difficulty sharing and taking turns. I don't think she could decide if she liked the baby or not. It was rather a bother to her to have to not step on him and she didn't care for the fact that his parents held him instead of her. But she was quite concerned about him when it came to sleeping arrangements and food. She asked me multiple times where he would sleep. And, since they left, if he would be coming back. I guess it's one of those love/hate relationships. :)
Seeing the crazy rain and weather, I'm glad they were able to leave yesterday. Today would not have been a fun drive (even for a few hours) but I wouldn't have minded a little longer visit either. Especially since it will be a minimum of a couple years before we get to see them again.
But I wish them well on this new adventure. And I know for a fact that the children in the orphanage they will be going to the Philippines to run will benefit from that adventure. If you'd like to see a little more about what they're doing, you can check it out here.
