She's A Play-a

Since Christmas, Hubby and I have lamented a couple of times not taking advantage of the usual sale on a few games. They typically put Candyland and Hi,Ho Cherrio and such games (usually 3 or 4) on sale for $5.

We had agreed that Candyland might be a good game to start her off with. Especially since we older ones have had a few Settlers of Catan battles lately.

 Well, on Saturday, Hubby, Rugrat, and I happened to visit a thrift store and guess what was sitting on the shelf for $2.

 It took her a game to get it down. And she still wants to go backward in places where the paths are close together. But she definitely got into it.

And after playing both Hubby and I, she promptly ran upstairs to get Chick to play with her as well.

I have no doubt she'll slip right into one of the spots at our game table as she gets older.
