One of our language lessons was an article about castles so, of course, we took some time to put one together. She made sure to include the vocabulary words too.
If you look closely, you may be able to identify the keep (tallest main tower), the towers, the drawbridge (ours was down for the moment), the moat, and the courtyard. I don't think we could figure out how to do a chapel or a dungeon.
One of our first lessons this week was about China so we made a dragon boat and a memory book. And, of course, we read about Ping.
In Art, we mixed colors and then made shapes from those sheets of paint to glue on another sheet and make a picture.
I had planned to join the co-op Monday at the pumpkin patch but they postponed it due to weather until Tuesday. Since I worked on Tuesday, that was out. But we'll see what we can do.
