In Science, we're learning about animals. She made a mobile of animals and how they move.
Still working on that handwriting -- but it's definitely a whole lot better.
We're currently studying Africa in History. She was quite excited to make her own drum.
She is also now reading. It isn't always fast (as she sounds out words) and it is still Dick and Jane style stories, but she's reading.
I was so excited the first time she read a sentence. I almost squealed, "You just read words!" Her response was like 'yep.' Obviously it isn't that big a deal to her yet. Oh well. I'm sure it will be at some point.
