Two Prayer Requests

Next week is going to have a few difficult moments for us. Any and all prayers would be appreciated.

1. The Rugrat will have her little procedure on Tuesday. We will have to go to the hospital quite early so that she can be knocked out and the eye doctor can do a thorough exam. I don't know how she reacts to anesthesia so that makes me a little nervous.

The hardest part, though, I think, will probably be not allowing her to eat in the morning. Sometimes she'll say "hi" or "mama" first in the morning but usually it's "eat." And if that isn't the first thing she says, it is always the second. I won't be able to explain to her why she can't eat.

Then, of course, the gas mask may freak her out too. It's not going to be fun. And while I am a little nervous, I haven't really gotten worried yet. That's probably coming though.

2. Dude will be going to camp on Sunday for the week. He has not been to this camp or with this troop long and that makes me nervous. It will be completely new and different states tend to have a little different councils so it is all a little bit of the unknown.

A final postscript one: trying right now to decide if it is feasible to make a little South Carolina visit. We would really like to and the opportunity has presented itself as far as timing if I can work it out.
