Last week, I made a quiche using a recipe from a lady here at my congregation. It was filled with spinach, ham, bacon, and cheese. Chick and I had a date for dinner but I needed to use up the fresh spinach in the fridge. So I put it together and baked it for anyone else's dinner who wished it.
Hubby has, on occasion, requested quiche. It's not something I make more than once in a great blue moon because the kids aren't crazy about it. So he dug in. After convincing Rugrat to give it a taste, we learned something interesting about her. She is a fan of quiche.
Or as she calls it -- 'egg pie.' She had seconds. The next day she had firsts and seconds reheated for lunch. It didn't matter that it was positively green with spinach. She was enjoying it.
Her tastes seem much more diverse thankfully than Chick or Dude's were. I'm going to take full advantage of it too.
