Tomorrow the Chick will be taking the ACT for the first time. So feel free to send some prayers her way. We probably should have gotten her started on them sooner but, you know, this past year and a half has been so sedate slow (yes, that's sarcasm).
She's still a junior so she's still on track though. But, more importantly, tomorrow begins her trek away from her childhood and into young adulthood. It occurred to me the other day that this time next year I will be looking for bargains on stuff for her dorm room. And buying a cap and gown; possibly a prom dress. I brought home a brochure for class rings that she has looked at at least twice.
Her journey has begun.
